Have you received lab results from your doctor recently?

Your doctor may have told you some information about your GFR (or eGFR). Your kidneys filter your blood by removing waste and extra water to make urine. The glomerular filtration rate (GFR) shows how well the kidneys are filtering. Normal kidney function returns a GFR of between 90-120, with GFR decreasing as you age. See the table to the right for a visual description of how GFR can be used to measure kidney function.
